Our family has been tobogganing since as long as I can remember and this is the best toboggan on the market today. It is very well made, rustic and solid, with planks a full 1/2" thick. It's also big - many other toboggans look good in a photo, but they are narrow and you can't even fit your feet into the curl. This one is 17" wide and 15" tall at the curl. I highly recommend it.
It's a good idea to get the matching pad (Mountain Boy Sledworks Mountain Boggan 6-Foot Toboggan Pad) - not only does it give some needed padding, but it keeps you from sliding around on the toboggan's surface.
This toboggan is very well made, and so far slides really, really well. Unfortunately, we already have a scrape in it from a rock, and we need to learn how to steer a toboggan. But I would certainly buy this again. The kids love it because we can all sled together on it.
We purchased this in 2009 upon moving from Alabama to Upstate New York and am I glad we did! This toboggan is exceptionally fast once we waxed the bottom.We had the entire family on absolutely FLYING down the hill. To top it all off, people stopped us to comment specifically how beautiful this toboggan is...and they're right! I would not hesitate to purchase any of Mountain Boy Sledworks products.These are best best wooden sleds in my book.
Without a doubt the best toboggan you can buy. The pad is also a must and you should purchase it with the toboggan. You can wax this baby up and by dragging your hands or pushing down on the front corner and pulling up on the opposit corner, turn and glide like you're floating in the clouds. Let it snow.This is a great sled for ice fishing also.I use it to pull my gear out when the ice is not thick enough to drive on.
We have been having so much fun on this thing. It fits our whole family - 2 adults and our 2 kids. Lots of laughing and screaming and "let's do that again". Plus its beautiful! Bye, bye plastic sleds for this family.

Very good quality. sturdy and with a nice big curl at the front to fit your legs under. Bought one elsewhere and returned it when I saw this one.When it comes to wooden sleds this is the best one.

Nope..I didn't spell that one right,but alot of folks are looking for a tobagon sled and this mispell this word so often thought I'd make a post for those looking for one,and being able to find one spelling it like they do.

My wife spells it tobaggan sled.Then I asked my sone to spell it and he spelled it tobogan sled.

Any ways this is a 6 foot tobogan sled that you can spell any way you'd like to.The thing is,this is a great high quality sled that you,your family can use while sledding those big hills around home.

Bring a pad along for your knees..sometimes the whole family gets on these things,and sometimes things can get bumpy.

In Europe they take there sleds serious.Check out this Eurosled.Now these things are an awesome experience to ride on.My friend has one,and he's out all the time.He loves it.It's top of the line,and it's top quality.This aint junk.This is a dam good quality sled.

Snow Baby Sled

We bought this sled as a Christmas present for my daughter's when she was 1 year old and used it a lot that first year.It's the best winter baby sled I've ever used. Now that she is 2, we have continued to use it when it snows enough. She loves going for sled rides and we have found the sled very safe and durable.

Keep in mind, this is not the type of sled you will be pushing your kid down a snow covered hill in because it's meant for babies and toddlers and therefore should only be pushed or pulled by an adult.These are really great sleds for babies.

The only downside I've found is that it's a bit difficult to pull or push if there isn't enough snow on the ground or over sidewalks where the snow has melted. Nonetheless, my daughter loves this sled and it's great exercise for mom. I'm sure we will be able to use it for at least a couple more years with her and then again with her little sister for a few more after that.Sleds for babies have come a long way.If you're looking for a little sled for your baby to ride on,than this one is a must.

Bottomline, it's a quality toy and good investment.There aint to many baby sleds for the snow out there,well now ya found one.

These kids sleds are so great! My son was 4 when we got them last Christmas and we could both ride in one just fine. Haven't gone on any super steep hills yet but I imagine they would hold up just fine. Junior Racer Sled

Wow. If I weren't aware that this sled is little brother to several even more exotic models from the same company, I'd be inclined to think this is just about the coolest sled in the world.

Beautifully crafted out of solid swiss-grown ash, real mortised joints, nicely balanced, comfortable seat, feels like it will last forever.
