Wooden Sled

We looked at many wooden sleds by many manufacturers but couldn't find the beauty, function and quality we were looking for. In fact, most are simply toys with a limited useful life. Then we found the Davos sled! It is built like fine furniture, in Switzerland, and seems to reflect a long tradition of European design and craftsmanship. From the special steam-curved hardwood runners wrapped in steel (ALL the way around, adding strength and durability) to the glued and mortised construction technique and specially curved deck, this sled speaks volumes about build quality. We added the child seat, which is built to the same quality standards with steam-bent wood and glued and mortised construction, and attaches in a simple way at any point along the length of the deck. We also got the Snuggle Bag for our little one, of excellent quality too. Graf Sleds America shipped our sled from the east coast to our address on the west coast in a little over one week, much faster than we expected (right before Christmas!).
